The Flagship of BVG's line of receiver hitch bike racks, The Back Road II carries 4-bikes, and uses our patented technology to swing the bikes away from the vehicle while the bikes are still attached-weightlessly and effortlessly. Don't underestimate this swing away feature! This makes it the best rack on the market. Steel tubing is E-coated prior to powder coating to prevent nicks, chips, and scratches--- providing years of use in the elements. Saddles hold bikes securely in place without scratching or marring, and rotate to carry different style bikes frames. Bike arms rotate out of the way while transporting rack without the bikes. Lock sold separately.

The Back Road II has been discontinued. The Back Road Pro Series (XBR2) has the same features as its predecessor but also features a fully integrated locking system, custom paint, and a stabilizer bar to prevent your bikes from hitting one another or the carrier
