Load up 3 bicycles in seconds and attach a small trailer at the end of the BC-X815 towing bicycle carrier for a family trip or outting. The BC-X815 bike rack fits into any Class III or IV receiver with a 2" opening and secures to your receiver tube with the included pinch bolt system. Slide the pinch bolt system over your receiver and tighten the knob to make the bicycle carrier solid in the receiver to eliminate any play. Three or less bikes can be set onto the rubber-coated frame cradles and can be secured to the carrier by two steel plates and two knobs.
Locking your bicycles into the carrier can be done by slideing padlocks(not included) into the 2 integrated holes that keep the plates from lifting off. To ensure the clamp is tight and secure, the max bike frame diameter is 2" for proper fitment. With the pull of a pin, swing the towing bicycle carrier down to gain access to the back of your SUV, van, hatchback, or truck. The swing-down feature is best not used while pulling a trailer as there are clearance issues. Attach a ball to the end of the towing bicycle carrier to pull a small trailer under 2000 lbs trailer weight. Not recommended for 1¼" hitches
